DKO's Beauty Baes

Welcome back babiesss. So seeing as my blog is a fashion and beauty blog, I decided it was about time I let you in on my favorite beauty buys of the past two months and this post is all about face.

Freshly washed and moisturized with absolutely no makeup one, I give you my natural face- ugh. Puffy first thing in the morning, and different shades of brown, darkest around my mouth and eyes. Which is why I had to dedicate a post to my new most loved foundation that was able to provide full coverage and an even skin tone.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation is literally my favorite. I have tried numerous foundations, from Bobbi Brown to Aerin but find that on dark skin or maybe just mine they seem to leave a orangey tone leaving me looking like a simpson. So ever since I watch Patricia Bright raving about the extended foundation lines for darker skin in her video here  I always wanted to try CT foundation and mateeeee it is delivering the goods.

I promise the pictures get better guys bare with me. Next I applied the most important thing in my makeup bag... Bobbi Brown correction stick which doubles up as a concealer and highlight for contouring. Like everyone else I make a basic tree of life on my face and blend blend blend.
Topping it off with a powder also lighter than my foundation which adds extra highlight and sets what is underneath using BEN NYE in shade Topaz. So many girls have been raving about this powder and I can honestly agree it works wonders but understand Banana is NOT the only shade the powder comes in!! (shade intended).

Blend, Blend & more Blending - still using my cute spectrum brushes of course.

Seeing as I started half my face I didn't want to leave it at just foundation and decided to use my new palettes. The Naked 3 and Sleek i-Divine vintage romance palette which is basically a cheap version of the naked smokey palette, the colours are literally the same.

Et Voila!

Autumnal Kouture

Welcome back guys! First and foremost I owe you all a major apology for my entire month absence. But I've started Uni - finally! Hence the cute rural background of Leicestershire; which gave me amazling lighting. But now I'm here, I'm hoping to get more regular with posts even do a room tour video and what not at a later date so keep your eyes pealed...

But first my more exciting news is about my newest venutre. DKO Kouture my very own luxury fur parkas most prominent for their huge fur collar. I was in search for one at a reasonable price for ages but after looking at essex boutiques, and simillar well known brands I had no luck finding a parka with a huge hood under £300; some brands even charging up to £600.

But me being me,  I worked my inner entrepreneur and managed to partner up with the exact same stockist for some of these top selling boutiques, and now supply my own at a slightly lower price. I'm in love with them. The fur on the inside is ridiculously soft as well as detachable so when it's warm you cant still rock the green shell of the parka itself.

The fur is real, lightweight and not only does it come in the natural brown I'm wearing but it Blue, Pink & white. With the inside lining matching the collar. Which mine doesn't I'm aware but once I received my first stock despite the mix up, I couldn't bare to send it back.

I thought it would be a cute touch to wear my Adidas Supercolors by Pharrell Williams which I've actually had for the longest time, but never blogged. I wanted to wait for the hype to die down and actually forgot to blog about them.... typical me. Paired with my all time fave high waisted jeans & a classic turtle neck crop, this honestly has to be one of my favourite  posts to date.
And a massive shoutout to my baby girl Fola for the amazing photography. It's so cray what good lighting and an iPhone camera can do when you leave your camera back in London. I was feeling myself especially in this new foundation....(so many posts for you guys!!!)

Badass Bombers, Sassy Creps

Welcome back cuties. Today's look was super casual moving from the theme of my last post's 70's vibe to a 90's vibe, mom jeans, bomber jacket and Reebox Classics.

This bomber jacket has become one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe its so different to the normal black, navy and khaki which I love don't get me wrong its just soo boring these days. As are skinny jeans, which I for one practically live in; that and a cute ass crop top. But change is good and I had these levi jeans in the back of my wardrobe for a year or so and hardly wore mainly due to the fact they don't fit as snug anymore. (A trip to levi's Regent Street is pending)!

As for the crop top, yet another to my already large collection; I picked this up on a complete and utter whim but it's the cutest thing, figure hugging yet so simple. The best part about it is one side is a lower cut than the other which enables me to switch it up and depending on the occasion or my mood.

Lastly, the trainers ahhh my beloved Reebok classics, that took forever and a half to arrive (footasylum!) but none the less I love. A lot of people mentioned I'm forever in heels, which I noticed looking back on past posts and so I again running on the theme of change decided to go with trainers, fresh out of their box and I love them. They are part of the Reebox spirits collection and are just the right colour, noticeably silver but not blindingly startling.

Lace Up's x Tassels

So Just when we thought summer was over, the sun came out to play and I took full advantage wearing this cute tassel co ord; channeling my inner 70's vibe with full tassel. Safe to say I was feeling myself...
I kept jewelry minimal and let the outfit do the talking. But the coin chains are very much apart of the bohemian 70's vibe I was going for and to be perfectly honest... I just really love this necklace.

The material is a faux suede that feels soooo soft, and the high waist shorts are just so cute. As always I shop to suit my body type and I was rather skeptical about how they'd look on me, but once I tried them on, I loved them so much so I actually wore this exact outfit (swap the heels for vans) to wireless.

But of course my love for heels meant I had to turn it into a dressy look for you guys, which I must say are my new loves. First ankle straps and now lace ups, the obsession continues!

They are honestly so comfortable and I love how I can tie them up as far up my leg as I want andddd have even more tassels on! Missguided truly outdid themselves.

Hair Talk - Hairworx Supplements

Guysss. It's been a while and I apologise but it feels amazing to say I FINISHED A LEVELS. Now I can pour my heart, soul, time and energy into blogging which I look forward to! To kick start I teamed up with  T&N Health Hairworx supplements who sent me these Hair growth supplements a month ago which I have used religiously ever since...

They came in cute pink tub, 60 tablets inside in total and are suitable for vegetarians. I had my natural hair out for like a month so my glo up for the year 13 leavers prom and my 18th birthday would be amazing- which it was!
I didn't change anything about my diet while taking them and as stated on the tub I didn't use them as a substitute for my diet. They were easy to swallow and didn't really taste of anything, so all in all they were pleasant.

The results were slow, of course I didn't expect anything over night but they were visible and I haven't even finished the tub!

My hair doesn't look much longer but it definitely looks fuller and thicker which is amazing with just one month of use! I haven't even changed my regime, regular  wash and conditions with argon oil and pink oil for all my chocolate ladies; if you know, you know! And it just goes to show, these supplements actually do work on black hair, something I was high skeptical about but you never know until you try and I would definitely recommend.

The Skirt.

My love for this outfit cannot be described.  When I purchased both items especially THE SKIRT honestly I was looking for any excuse to wear it and the fact it doubles up as a skirt AND a dress melts my heart. I'm so in love with pale, nude skin colour shades right now, which will reflect in my posts to come...
The sun has actually shown its face in London and with that being a rare occurrence, I seized the opportunity to take time out of my revision and make a post.
Having an awkward body shape, I have learnt to dress more to my body type rather than what's on trend, so anything that accentuates my length is a friend of mine. I've been after a super fitted full length skirt but my love of bargains wouldn't let me buy the first one I saw off the bat.
So while on Depop  which is a nifty selling and buying service set out like instagram I found a girl selling it brand new, with tags for a fraction of the price!
Where as this super cute cropped navy strip top in a similar nude shade stops just where the skirt begins and compliments it perfectly and I was feelin' myself- yaaas honey especially with my new dookie braids.

I just found this look so simple and it can be dressed up or down- swap the heels for sandals, turtle neck for a bralet, throw on some shades and you're good to go.
As always my hunt for a good background to make my posts continues lool - let me know what you think of this one and if you're a fellow blogger, fashion lover or a fan of my blog; hit my up on bloglovin', my twitter or instagram! Much love guys xo
